Shared risers, intergenerational harmony

Maple Harmony Chorale brings amateur singers, students, and veteran choristers together across Canadian communities, pairing classical choral pedagogy with diverse global traditions without exclusionary gatekeeping.

Artistic Governance

Nonprofit choral stewardship

Incorporated to safeguard vocal arts as a shared civic resource, our chorale eliminates economic and credential hurdles. Rather than filtering singers through adversarial auditions, our conductors build vocal health, part literacy, and ensemble resonance directly on the rehearsal floor every Tuesday evening.

Our artistic directors curate repertoire that spans Renaissance polyphony, contemporary Canadian choral compositions, and living multicultural traditions. Subsidized scores, volunteer section leads, and partnerships with local school music programs ensure our choir risers reflect our wider community.

From the Risers

Voices within the ensemble

Standing beside singers who have performed for forty years taught me breath control faster than any solo practice room ever could.

Claire M., Second Alto

As a high school student learning tenor parts, the patience and musical rigor of our conductors gave me the confidence to sing uninhibited.

Julian T., Youth Chorister

The choir balances meticulous tuning with genuine warmth. We work hard on difficult polyphonic rhythms while remaining a true musical home.

David K., Bass Section Lead
